Minsk: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus on Tuesday discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of industry and investment. A meeting to this effect was held in Minks by Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), and Andrei Kuznetsov, Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus.
The meeting stressed the importance of consolidating economic partnerships and expanding areas of industrial cooperation in a manner that realises the common interests of the two countries.
The two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in the sector of converting industries, including the assembling of vehicles and road construction equipment. They also explored new investment opportunities between private sector establishments in the two countries.
