SAF Chief of Staff receives Algerian military official

Muscat--- Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces, received at his office in Al Murtafa'a Camp today, General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of People’s National Army Staff of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, along with his accompanying delegation.

Upon the arrival of the visiting guest at the headquarters of the COSAF, an official reception ceremony was conducted for him. The guard of honour performed the military salute, and a military band played the salute of honour, after which the guest reviewed the guard of honour.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and discussed several military matters, as well as means of enhancing them in a manner that serves mutual interests.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Sultanate of Oman.

NDC Commandant receives Algerian military official

Rear Admiral Ali Abdullah Al Shidi, Commandant of the National Defence College (NDC), received at his office in Bait Al Falaj Camp today General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of People’s National Army Staff of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria and his accompanying delegation.

The two sides exchanged views on a number of topics of common interest, particularly in academic fields.

The guest and his accompanying delegation listened to a briefing about the National Defence College at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, including its facilities and equipment and viewed the various departments.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Sultanate of Oman.
