Muscat Municipality outlines requirements for Eid Market vendors

Muscat: Muscat Municipality has clarified the requirements and regulations for selling at the Eid Market. 

Requirements and regulations for selling at the Eid Market are as follows : 

-An umbrella measuring (33) meters must be provided and must be a uniform blue colour.

-Selling on the ground without an umbrella is prohibited.

-Foreign vendors must carry a valid work permit.

-Muscat Municipality is not responsible for any lost goods during the market event.

-Vendors' carts are prohibited from entering the market area.

-All vendors must prepare their locations five days before the market begins.

-The auction is limited to local sheep, cattle, and camels of all types. Others are prohibited.

-Livestock owners must not display their animals outside the designated market area or on the street.

-Livestock owners must adhere to the designated areas.
